New Jersey Senior Olympic Games:  Wanted Green Township athletes to compete in the 2024 New Jersey Senior Olympic Games! The Township of Woodbridge will be hosting the NJ Senior Olympics games September 6, 7, and 8, 2024. We invite Green Township residents 50 and older to participate in the Olympic Games which include, Golf, Pickle Ball, Racquetball, Swimming, Table Tennis, Track and Field and Tennis to name a few. Green Township will reimburse the general registration fee of $40.00 for the first ten (10) participants to sign up before August 23. Registration for Pickle Ball is $45.00. Reimbursement not to exceed $45.00. Visit to register to for the 2024 NJSO games. Please contact Patty at or 908-852-9333 x11 for information regarding reimbursement.

Volunteer Opportunity - Looking to volunteer as a Green Township Representative?  Please let us know if you are
interested to become Green Township's representative on the Sussex County Water Quality Management Policy Advisory Committee. 
The purpose of this Committee is to critique and aid the staff of the Water Quality Management Program in determining the best,
fairest and most practical means of dealing with water quality problems, issues and to make recommendations concerning the
same to the Board of County Commissioners.  The meeting dates are monthly on the first Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the
Sussex County Administrative Center in Newton.  Please call the Municipal Builing at (908) 852-9333, Extension 11.
